THE CHARTER OF CIVIL SOCIETY FOR
THE CARIBBEAN COMMUNITY

ARTICLE I

In this Charter, unless the context otherwise requires the following expressions shall save the following meanings:

"Social partners" shall mean the Government of a State, Associations of Employers, Workers Organisations and such Non-Governmental Organisations as the State may recognise;
"State" shall mean a Member State of the Caribbean Community and shall include Associate Members of the Caribbean Community.
